Road Tip #2

When on the road with a laptop, even with a five hour battery, if your planning on going the cheap route and sleep in your own personal hotel on wheels, and your to cheep to spring for the $100+  car adapter, then you never no when your going to be able to recharge your battery, well this could be said for almost any device. The solution to such a predicament? The first thing you do is go to the nearest McDonalds, Wendys, Taco-Bell, or what ever fast food restaurant you can find. The key is the way the restaurant is set up, if its got one of those elbow designs, then your in great shape. There’s always one outlet in the back by the bathrooms. Its’ usually hidden under a booth so you might have to do some peeking under tables. Once you’ve located it then go to town with your device, and recharge away. Its sometimes best to buy something to eat so you’re a paying customer and it keeps employees from saying anything. They usually don’t anyways because they don’t have the sense to know what your doing. Don’t believe me check for your self the next time you go to one. I used an outlet today  at a Burger King today and they were all none the wiser.
